Mom’s Meatballs
1 pound ground meat (lean 85%/15%)
1/2 c. bread crumbs
1 egg
1/2 onion, chopped
2 tablespoons Italian Seasoning
1/2 cup parmesan cheese
a touch milk
Mush up the ground meat. Add the onions, breadcrumbs, seasoning, salt/pepper, egg, cheese. Mix it all together. The mixture should be in between soggy and dry. If it’s too dry, add a touch of milk. If it’s too wet, add some more breadcrumbs. Form into desired ball size. Bake at 350 degrees for about 10 minutes.
If you are making pasta/sauce.. add the meatballs to the sauce and cook for a bit more. Otherwise, leave in the oven for an extra 2 min.
